ames was responsive and able to come out in a timelv manner. He diagnosed the issue with our package AC furnace unit, suggested a solution and completed the work quickly. He then very patiently worked with me on reprogramming our ecobee thermostat, made sure it was working properly, helped me set up the app on my phone, and showed everyone in the household how to use it. He did not try to rush or hurry through anything, which I appreciated. While the repair was not inexpensive, I am hoping it has solved our issue, and he reassured me that if it didn't, he would come back out and give us a credit for a new system if that's what we end up needing.He worked diligently to resolve the problem. He's very professional, sweet, humble and honest. He diagnosed the issue I was having with my furnace and appreciate the fact that he understood my financial capabilities and assured me that it was something simple. Assume no one ever had them cleaned before in 17 years (we've been here for 1 year). The price from the other company was very very very high. I went to Yelp to find other quotes. I received better ones, but James' was the best. He was also the most responsive and personal to replying (if you've ever sent quote requests on Yelp you know 90% are cut and paste replies that don't even consider your initial question. I got multiple telling me about their AC tune up specials, which had nothing to do with my request) Anyway, after talking to James on here, I decided to have him out to do the work. I usually go for companies with more reviews, since that typically gives a little more confidence. James has been in the hvac business for 10+ years and just recently opened his own business, which is why I'm only the 4th review (as of today). The work, professionalism, and attitude from James was great. The price was the best. He was just a generally nice guy and I was glad to have him do the work. There's some other services and repairs I need on my hvac system and I'm definitely going to use James for that when the time comes. Don't skip over this company because there's not a lot of reviews.

Since the last 2 days. It was super cold with it no longer working. I contacted Bulter Heating and Air here on yelp. Received a response to my request very quickly! I started having problems yesterday with one of two furnaces. I called James this morning and he was available to come out this afternoon and take a look at the issue. I was planning to upgrade to smart thermostats anyway and James said he could install those first and then check out the system for any other issues. The fan on my A/C unit gave up during the latest monsoon heat wave. My home HVAC is almost 20 years old. I contacted Angie's list for a service company and picked Butler Heating & Air. 20 minutes later the owner James Butler called me to arrange a service call the next day. He arrive earlier than the original appointment ;diagnosed the problem, had the right parts, replaced them and checked the heater while he was here, found a marginal part ,replaced it.....All this within 24 hours of my call! Service was great, the price was what he quoted.
